Two women mourn their husbands.
Tomb no.181 at Khokha in Thebes of Neb-amun and Ibouky.
The women show grief and weeping. The sons are purifying for their fathers and make the "open of the mouth" ritual in order to bring their deceased fathers' conscious and help them live again. Observe how the mourning ladies cry at the feet of the husbands' coffins. Their dresses reveal that they don't care anymore to hide their bodies after the death of their husbands. They also put dust (or blue powder called Nila) upon their heads, a tradition which might still be followed in Egypt until today in some remote places.
