a quartzie stela of King Tuthmosis III .

One of the small artifacts exhibited in the Egyptian Museum (Room 12 First floor) is a part of a quartzie stela of King Tuthmosis III which was broken in some pieces. This piece that is preserved is a proof that King Tuthmosis III might have been married to the daughter of Queen Hatshepsut (Meryt-ra Hatshepsut !!!)When he occupied the throne alone after the death of his aunt and mother-in-law !!! Hatshepsut, he restored the right of his mother Isis (wife of King Tuthmosis II) and put her name instead of his own w
ife (Meryt-ra Hatshepsut)
