Bastet Jar .... from Ancient Egyptian Art

Discovery site: Giza, Saqqara
The goddess "Bastet" was named after the ancient Egyptian city "Bast"
It is the current "Tel Basta" area next to Zagazig in Sharkia Governorate. Many small statues of this goddess were found in this area.
