I always say that we never know what the sands of Egypt might hide of secrets.

I attended yesterday’s announcement regarding the discovery of a new cachette of mummies dated to Dynasty 22. 

The discovery contained 30 sealed & beautifully decorated sarcophagi belonging to men, women, & children. 

This is the fifth cachette of mummies to be found in Luxor and it is the first to be discovered by an Egyptian team of archaeologists.
