• The luxurious Imperial Hadrian villa in Tivoli, northeast of Rome, is decorated with many statues of Antinus in Egyptian dress, as well as many other sculptures with Egyptian pictures. The massive complex is designed to evoke the ruler's extensive travels throughout the Roman Empire. A terraced garden with a long swimming pool was named after the site near Alexandria in Egypt, and a haven that may be dedicated to Antius contains an obelisk in his memory.
