The blade of a dagger
A group of Italian archaeologists has completed a study on a dagger
Found in 1925 in the sarcophagus of King Tutankhamen, safe in Egypt
They concluded that the dagger consisted of materials found in meteorites, and their source from space.
It was British archaeologist Howard Carter who discovered the king's grave in 1922.
The dagger is made of a space meteorite.
And using X-rays,
Scientists have found that the dagger is made up of 10% of nickel
0.6 percent of cobalt,
This is a typical mixture of meteorites.
Scientists had found a hole in the Egyptian desert in 2010 formed by the fall of a meteorite, and traces of nickel and iron were found there.
He also described one of the ancient Egyptian papyri "iron that fell from the sky."
At the time, no one was taking seriously those signals.
Tutankhamun ruled Egypt from 1323-1333 BC
He passed away at the age of 18.
