The golden mask of King Shishenq II
The third transition era, family 22, the reign of King Shishenq II, really, was the story that we would sow, 890 BC.
Material: gold
Dimensions: Height 26 cm, width 23 cm.
Source: Cemetery of Sheshonq II / Psusennes the First of Tanis (San al-Hajar) in the east of the delta.
This is an unusual mask. The mask lacks the bronze selection around the eyes and eyebrows. The mask is made of a solid gold layer.
