THE PSAMTIK
- This statue depicts psammetik standing in prayer position, stamping his career as a writer hanging from his neck.
- It stands under the shape of a cow representing the goddess Hathor. She was the goddess of love, music, and motherhood. Here, she wears the usual sun disk crown, with two long feathers between her horns and Urayus, or cobra breeding.
