The sun sets on the right shoulder of the Sphinx in a rare astronomical phenomenon.

The sun sets on the right shoulder of the Sphinx in a
rare astronomical phenomenon The sun sets on the right shoulder of the Sphinx.
Yesterday, the pyramid's ruins witnessed a distinct astronomical phenomenon, as the sun set on the right shoulder of the Sphinx.

Dr. Zahi Hawas, the former Minister of Antiquities, explained that this phenomenon occurs twice a year over the course of four days as the sun sets on the right shoulder of the Sphinx, on March 21 and 22, and on September 21 and 22 in September, that is, in the spring and autumn, and this is what is called  With the name Equinox, that is, when the night is equal to the day, pointing out that after sunset in the sunset on the right sphinx, it heads to the south, and during the summer we find it begins to move to the north.

Dr. Zahi Hawas stressed that there is another phenomenon that is stronger than the first and can attract the whole world again, and this phenomenon can be seen on June 21-22 as the sun sets between the pyramids of Khufu and Khafra directly and this phenomenon is called Solstice meaning that this phenomenon shows us a sign  Horizon - the sun between the horizon of Khufu and the horizon of Khafre.

Dr. Zahi Hawass emphasized that this phenomenon proves that archaeologists have erred when they said that the ancient Egyptian had accidentally found an ancient rock and turned it into a statue of a human face and an inhuman body, indicating that the phenomenon proves that there is an astronomical and religious reason of carving the Sphinx, the sun god rising  And stranges between the horizons of Khufu and Khafra.  Dr. Hawas continued that this theory is unique and confirms the tremendous scientific superiority of the ancient Egyptian.
