The eye ... and the throne.

From the Temple of Kom Ombo .. the right and left eyes of Horus ... every eye in it stands above a hemisphere .... symbol of Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt .. i.e. the highest presence and the lowest presence of man.

The eye and the throne were among the most important symbols of Egyptian civilization.

And after Horus recovered his left eye (his higher being), the Court of Cosmic Forces in Heliopolis gave him the ruling of the two lands (Tawi)... Lower Egypt and Upper Egypt ...... lower existence and higher existence.

For the ancient Egyptians, the eye was a symbol of consciousness, also of protection, but it may also be a symbol of negative, destructive energy.
