Tutankhamun Headrest.

An ivory headrest with the god Shu holding the sky above his head. The two lions symbolize the mountains on the eastern and western horizons, between which the sun rose and set. The headrest was designed to support the pharaoh’s head between the two horizons as he travelled through the afterlife.

From the Tomb of Tutankhamun Valley of the Kings, West Thebes. Now in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo.
